Hello, just spent last 3 weeks working in my favorite quilt shop. I am so not used to working and NOT getting my afternoon naps, but I love being at ths shop and would not give up any oppertunity to work there.

Been getting a lot done while at the shop binded one quilt for my niece, finished a mystery quilt and also learned a new pattern (that's new to me) of Elanore Burns called Day and Nite. I have fallen in love with the pattern and plan on doing another, oh by-the-way you make two bonus wall hangings from the cut-aways and the special template comes with her book, lets see what else--oh yeh waited on some customers, had great fun helping them pick out fabrics and very pleased when they agreed with my choices for them, it's almost as much fun as choosing for my own projects!

Now it is time to get back to my quilting

Been way to busy lately. Finnished several quilt tops and even got some bindings done, the bindings are my least favorite thing to do, but when done, it's done!!
Will be working in the local quilt shop for next three weeks straight, that will be tough but fun.

Slacker

O.K. so I'm a real slacker. No time for this stuff, not if I want to finish quilt projects. So just going to post pics of recent projects

Winding down from a long day, up at 7 and started right in working on this monster mystery quilt, it's never ending. then showered and went to church, stopped for a visit and coffee with my friend "Mrs.Greenthumb"
back home sewed till the hubby called me in for supper, ate, did dishes and back to sewing.
Oh for anyone who cares, I have the dream husband, he does most of the cooking and house work, I do laundry and sew---now who would not love this arrangement

Way to busy for this, but I will try harder
Starting a new b.o.m. at the quilt shop this month. Started a couple of on-line b.o.m. also. Check out shabbyfabrics.com for their cute house b.o.m., I made the first block, except for the embroidery, will get to it soon and then post a pic. The other b.o.m.  isn't done yet.
